District Profile
Rockwall County Municipal Utility District No. 8 (the “District”) was created in 2005 and confirmed by voters in 2006 to provide essential public infrastructure and services within the City of Fate, Texas. The District operates under the laws of the State of Texas governing municipal utility districts and is regulated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The District is authorized to provide water, wastewater, drainage, solid waste, and recreational facilities; however, water and wastewater services are currently provided through a contract with the City of Fate.

Board Members
The District is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of five (5) Board members elected by the registered voters of the District, who manage and supervise all affairs of the District. Board members must either own property within the District or be a registered voter within the District. Each Board member is elected to serve a staggered four (4) year term. The District’s current Board members are as follows:
